Installed LR6 (LR6.8 after update) on my Windows 10 PC.  My previous working version was LR5.7.  I use two external hard drives to store my images.  LR6 "sees" both external drives.  I noticed the virtual copies and Collections are missing from one of my external drives.  There are no "!" or "?" indicating missing files/folders.  If I open LR5 those VC's and Collections are visible.  I un-installed LR6 and reinstalled only to get the same result.  How can I move the missing VC's and Collections from LR5 to LR6?  Thanks in advance for your assistance!

You need to Open your LR 5 catalog file in LR 6. When doing that LR 6 will make a copy of it and convert that copy to a catalog file that works with LR 6. Once that is done all your images, collections, keywords and edits will be there.

Do NOT create a New catalog and import all your images. If you already did that just go to File > Open Catalog and browse to the original LR 5 catalog and select Open or OK or whatever. LR will want to shut down and restart and then you will be prompted to convert

That's the smart previews folder.

The catalog file ends with .lrcat, so it's probably C:\Users\Me\Pictures\Lightroom\Lightroom 5 Catalog.lrcat

See post above for the correct path. The catalog file ends with .LRCAT (lrcat lower case).
