I have been watching tutorials on premiere elements 12 and notice that when they click the applied effects tab there is a little time line there to help with adjustments. This does not show on my adobe for some reason. I have to use the main timeline for all my effects. Does anyone know how to make this show up

Can you post a link to that tutorial.

And post a screenshot on what you are missing.
