export window blank - help; upgraded IOS and now LR window has bug it seems

Hello,

I have LR 5.6 for my Mac. It has been working fine but I upgraded my IOS to the new Sierra. Love the new IOS and everything else seems to work fine; but I have a problem with LR. The program seems to work fine, but when I export and try to click on the new folder location, a blank window comes up. So it only can be saved to the desktop. It's a problem enough that I feel I might have to restore my system to pre IOS upgrade unless anyone has any help or advice on this?

Try resetting LR's preferences: http://www.lightroomforums.net/showthread.php?25197-Resetting-the-lightroom-preferences-file-updated . Sprinkling that magic fairy dust often fixes wonky LR behavior.

thus far this is the magic fairy dust!!!!!!.....can't tell you how excited I am to see this works! Really, it has been a couple years waiting on a necessary upgrade because of this problem....and now it seems to work!! You don't know how much I appreciate this!!
