Hi guys,
I've created an interactive pdf that has a number of buttons that show other buttons. These buttons play sound on click. This all works fine on all browsers apart from ie11. Any ideas why?
Cheers
Mark.
Got it working by converting it to mp3 rather than wav. Works fine in all browsers now.

Yes, ie11 does not support this. Why not use Publish Online, this works in every browser. You should forget interactive PDF for now as it will only work correctly in Acrobat Reader, the rest is a gamble...

Thanks for your response guys, it is published using Publish Online. So basically the play audio action on a button just doesn't work on ie?

Ah! You left out the part it being NOT a mp3!
Still: what works in a PDF inside a browser WILL differ from browser to browser and OS to OS!
Forget about PDF with interactivity inside a browser because changes are it will not work everywhere!!

Hi mark,
I love it when someone finds the correct answer to their own question.
Yes, wav is a little dicey.
But next time try to understand that Publish Online is not PDF. It is, in fact, a form of HTML in a special wrapper to give you the controls for page forward, back, zoom, etc.
You threw Bob and Frans off by calling it a PDF.
