Its changed from a UK keyboard to a US Keyboard
i had been using the Pen tool using the Ctrl & Alt keys a lot and the space bar took some time to find out what had gone wrong had some surprising characters on my screen while typing
I have now found out if you hit the Windows Key + the space bar it changes the Key board language think I need to cover up the windows key

Thanks i had found that link i was pointing out how it is easy when using the pen tool or Zoom in Photoshop to hit the Windows key between Ctrl & Alt key and then the spacebar to pan and not notice you have switched over to a default Keyboard. I was getting all sorts of keys displaying all sorts of text on the screen Did not know why at first. Sorted now Try to find a way to stop the Windows key from working but Microsoft say you cannot disable the [window key] from working. First i knew about it was the [@]symbol displayed as [" ] I was just letting others know about this problem . Never had this problem before I think its just the short Cuts used in Photoshop are close to the ones Microsoft window Caution should be taken when using these shortcuts
