Problems with licensing Lighroom

Hi,

I have had Lightroom trial for about a month, and yesterday I decided to by it. I downloaded it to my computer and tried to enter the serial number. When entering it I do not get any error message, however there is a message up in the left corner saying "Lightroom mobile trial expired" (se the screenshot). It almost seems that it hasn't noticed the serial number I enter. When trying to update Lightroom (in order to import ORF files) I get an error message that the update failed and the updates could not be applied (see screenshot). The error log was not able to open. Do anyone know what could be wrong?

Launch Lightroom and go to the menu: Help >> Sign Out <your email address>

Quit Lightroom

Re-launch Lightroom and click the button “Sign In Now”

Click the button “License This Software”

Enter serial number & click Next

Lightroom will launch as LR6

Yes, I have tried this several times. However, the same message "Lightroom mobile trial expired" appears, and I do not manage to update the program..

LR Mobile trial does not mean the software is a trial. You can find out if you have LR Cc or LR 6 from the menu:

Help >> About Lightroom

It says it is Lightroom 6. What could then be the reason I do not manage to update it to the latest version?

If you are not on v6.8 and you are not able to update from:

Help >> Updates
