Cannot open old Indesign document "missing parameter 'from' for method 'open'"

Hi, I want to open an old Indesign document (2008).

Cannot open document, instead get I get the message:

"missing parameter 'from' for method 'open'"

please help

if it's only that one document that's causing that error, that document is the problem, not id, and i'll move this thread to the id forum where you might get help trying to restore that file.

I re-installed Indesign, did the trick!

strange though, were only documents from one particular folder

it was probably a preferences issue if you reset your preferences during installation.
