Hi guys

Is there a way to center a stroke made with the pen-tool. the align panel which works to center shapes doesn't work since the stroke itself seems to have its center in the middle of the layer it sits on.

I would be so happy for an answer

Greetings from Switzerland

You can snap a mask vertex or a shape path to a guide line or a grid. You can snap an anchor point to a grid. You can snap a mask path or shape to a grid.

Unfortunately you cannot derive the position of the center of a path mathematically or by typing in x and y coordinates so snapping is your best option. You just have to have the option turned on and you have to have guides locked using the View menu.

What's wrong with eyeballing it?  People do it all the time.
