create a new html5 document.

add text to the stage

while that text is still selected, in the properties panel, add a drop shadow

do that appear successful?

test does the drop shadow appear in your browser?

do you mean if you edit/change something on stage using the toolbar and then test, you fail to see the changes made?

if so, are you overwriting your html when publishing:
