Specifying Page Ranges for Custom Page Numbering

I was recently trying to export some pages from a book that has page numbering in a "chapter-page" format, and Acrobat DC is nice enough to show page numbers in that format. So far, however, I haven't been able to figure out how to specify a page range using a custom format.

For example, let's say I want to export pages 10-6 through 10-8. Is there any way to directly specify this? So far attempts like

     10-6 - 10-8

     "10-6" - "10-8"

     10-6 to 10-8

have all failed.

My work-around is to look up the physical page numbers (pages 260-262) and specify that, but it would be more convenient to use the page numbers shown in the Organize Pages view.
