Media Offline nach dem Öffnen des Projekts

After opening a project the connection to some mediafiles is lost. When I try the other day it works or different clips are not found. Why?

Ich öffne ein Projekt. Doch bei einigen Mediafiles fehlt die Zuordnung zum Clip. An den entsprechenden Stellen erschein das rote "Media Offline" Bild. Woran liegt das?

Manchmal ist es beim Aufruf am nächsten Tag wieder gut.

That can happen if you have your media on an external drive that doesn't have a fixed drive letter or is not connected.

Make sure that all of your media is copied onto your hard drive.

But I wonder as I have mounted a thunderbolt drive for the clips. The operating system is macOS Sierra. There ist no drive letter as we know it from Windows. The Volume name is fix. And most of the media was found on that drive.

Do I really have to work on the system drive?
