PS CC 2017 - how to drag select multiple layer?

In Photoshop CC 2015 it was possible to drag select multiple layers with tool shortcut-"a" >  cmd + click/select. it is selected any layer type (fonts, rectangle, etc.). now in photoshop cc 2017 it does not work anymore. it just select rectangles... what do i wrong?

please help,

thx, yes, kind of. tool "V" and select "auto select". does not work perfect as before but it is the only alternative.
