Downloading LR5

Joined Creative cloud. Tried to download LR6-notified my system Mac v10.7.5 does not support the programme. 3 visits to chat room, told could use LR5. helped with installation but seems incomplete.Tried uninstall. Still says "up to date"but can't open. Chat room has referred me to Forum for help from experts. Is there somebody out there who can help?!!

Of course, you won't be able to use the program past the trial period since your LR6 serial number won't activate LR5... and Adobe no longer sells LR5
