Nik Collection/Sierra/Lightroom CC issues?

I've read all about the issues everyone's been having issues with the Nik Collection and Photoshop. I recently upgraded to Sierra, then all of the sudden started having my computer's(old 2013 model & my brand new one) start crashing, when using Lightroom & Color Efex Pro. Eventually getting to where the computer won't even stay on after an upload and a few edits. Has anyone else had issues with anything like this?
