Lightroom has missing components

I am studying at an educational facility, and I am continually noticing the difference of my (photography plan) lightroom at home and the educational facility software, which appears to be the previous version of Lr.   My version - which is the latest - appears to have several missing components in library along the bottom of the images ie grading stars, and other icons along that bar.  Is there any reason for this and how can I fix it???

You can select yourself what you want to have to show up on the Toolbar. The toolbar can be hidden and shown by hitting 'T'.

At the far right end of the toolbar you can find a triangle. If you click on that you can set the options you want to see on your bar.
