Hi !
I use a MacBook Pro retina under Mac OS.X.Sierra (last Apple Version)
And Lightroom latest update 2015.8
As I do need to use now Lightroom instead of Apple'a Aperture. It was convenient for me until now.
I have an Extra or a Plug-in to import Aperture whole Library with the infos related to each of my 22.000 pictures and graphics.
So I was to do so...
Lightroom : File > External modules or Extras > Import from Aperture Library...
I've selected Aperture Library item
I've chosen which folder will content the Masters and so on
I have a look to the Options...
I have to mention I use an external Drive for My Pictures. A good one ! So I do want to use the same for LightroomMasters
And I was ready for a quite long night.
BUT the IMPORT button is gray and non functional !
What else ... Must I Do !
Thank you for any support tor Idea.
Best regards,
Pascal

Hi !
One more info : The Add-on to migrate an Aperture Library to Lightroom is no longer in the list of Adobe Adds-on ?
It is install on my LR 2015.8 because in 2014 I was about to do so...
Does it stil work with LR 2015.8 ?
Best,
Pascal

Hi again !
The Add-on (released in 2014) seems to do not work no longer with Lightroom CC (2015.1).
I thank you for any advise or info.

Pascal

The Aperture Import is in my Lr2015.8 and came supposedly preinstalled . I never tried the import as I never used Aperture after trying it a few times. I am using OS X 10.11.6.

Thank you for this information.
So I'm going to look for LightRoom Plugs-in Manager ! And redo for start my attempt.

So,
I did redo from start. I looked in : Files > Plug-ins Manager and find the Import Aperture Library Plug-in activated. I unactivated it. Then Quit LR 2015.8.
Then I reopened LR 2015.8, reactivated the Import Aperture plug-in in the Plugs-in Manager.
But I was unable to import my Aperture Library... The "Import" button is still no active or not functional ?
So, if an Adobe Advisor is looking to this moderate forum, please, perhaps you'll have any advise to give to me ?
Best regards.

I have no answer. Is there an Adobe Adviser ?
