Hello, In Acrobat pro 11, when I right-click some text and choose to either "Copy" or "Copy with Formatting" and paste to a page that has text or to a blank page, the results are the same. Is there a supposed to be a difference between the two?

Hi Pitts2k,

"Copy" and "Copy with Formatting" have difference in feature.

"Copy" just copy the text of the file and Depending on the content of your PDF, you can also preserve the formatting(column) if the PDF is tagged properly. Instead of Copy, select Copy with Formatting.

So if there is any specific format of the text, then only the "Copy with Formatting" will work.

Regards,

Akanchha
