Running the most current 2017 InDesign CC (12.0.0.81) on a MacPro (OS X 10.4.4). When I highlight text in a text box, then go to change a preference in the toolbar it affects the text box instead of the toolbar.
For example...
Select a line of text in a text box. Highlight leading, type "0" and "0" has replaced the line of text in the text box while nothing happens in the toolbar. It's like the toolbar has no idea what the keyboard is doing. The best part is it's intermittent.
This is maddening. It's taking 3 times as long to do anything. Already deleted preferences and made sure my CC version is up to date. Also double checked keyboard is working in other programs. The keyboard appears to be functioning perfectly.
Any ideas?
