Muse update stops at 2%

I've been trying to update Muse for a couple of days now and all i get is 2% then waiting... if i cancel or restart CC the message remains. I tried stoping background process and restarting, still getting the same results. I'm on a mac mini OSX 10.11.6. i have a 50 MB internet connection. i tried reinstalling CC and nothing. Any ideas?
