Indesign CC 2017 - App window opens very small

Hi, I've been using InDesign CC 2017 since it came out and everything was perfectly normal

In the beginning of this week, every time I launch InDesign, the main application window opens up very small.

I have to manually enlarge it and place it each time - it's a pain (and I dont like working in full screen mode)

I've searched for this problem - it seems like it was a problem in the past, but nothing current.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

David

Sorry, I missed that.

But Indesign should remember the size and position of the window, maybe resetting preferences will fix it.

Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences

You didn't tell us what operating system you're using. If you're on a Mac, check Application Frame under the Window menu and it will open consistently.

While the frame will open full screen, you can go to the corner and resize the frame to the size you like. It will keep opening up that way.

I too am now on Windows 10 and had been on XP which no longer works either.

We'll have to wait for the Windows experts to reply here. I work on a Mac.

Right click the shortcut that you click to launch Indesign, and set Run to Maximized.

Thanks for your response. However, I specifically wrote that I don't like to work with maximized window

I just want that the standard window should be a normal size and position - as it was until this week...
