Hi guys.

I've just paid and upgraded to Lightroom CC 2015 .

And i opened my Camera's RAW Files - SONY A7R II - only to find that CC Doesn't support them ?

I contacted Adobe, They told me to update it, with the latest version , but i did that and still i get the same error messages when i try to import my RAW files into CC 2015.

I'm using a 5k retina imac BTW .

I need these RAW files to open and be able to process them ASAP please guys.

Yours,

Davey

Try opening Creative Cloud from Launch Pad or click on the icon if it appears to the right of the menu bar in Finder

When CC desktop launches go to the Apps tab and check to see if any updates are available. If the button next to Lighroom shows “Open” go to the settings

Click the gear icon (top-right) and choose Check for App Updates

If nothing comes up click the gear icon again and choose Preferences >> Sign-out

Then quit CC desktop and re-boot your mac.

Launch CC desktop again and sign-in

Then go to

You need to update to at least CC2015.1.1, and I suggest to update to the latest 2015.8:

Install Photoshop Lightroom

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

Hi Davey

Can you launch LR and check the installed version by going to the menu:

Help >> System Info

If you do not see LR CC 2015.8 download the update from the link below:

Install Photoshop Lightroom

Hi there, I tried all these instructions and it's still not working. Also downloaded Camera Raw 9_10_1 and am using Lightroom CC.... Do you know if there's anything else I can try?

What is your exact LR version - check in the Help menu?

Lr does not need nor use ACR - there's no need to install it.
