[Acrobat] cannot rotate stamp

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2015.

After stamping a document, I cannot rotate the stamp.

I am familiar with the process, but the handle does not turn into the rotate symbol.

How can this problem be fixed?

An oval annotation can't be rotated. Only a Stamp annotation can be, or a free text annotation (and only by 90 degree intervals).

Are you able to move it around on the page?

Yes, I can move it without any problem.

The mouse pointer (hand or arrow) does change into the double arrow that allows to move the stamp. But never changes into the rotate symbol when getting close to the rotating anchor above the stamp.

What's the exact version number of your Acrobat? Also, what's your OS?

I have the exact same issue. It began in February, likely after a data patch.

Version 2015 Release (Classic) | Version 2015.006.30280

The grip handle above the stamp will not select. I can move and resize, just not rotate. This is a function I use on a daily basis.

I have a similar issue.  After drawing an oval, the handle doesn't even appear, therefore, so rotating option!

I don't think these are "oval" annotations, they are simple stamps.  Still not working??

If it's a stamp then it should be possible. Click on it and look for the tiny white circle about it (marked in red below):

When you hover with the mouse above it the cursor should change to this icon:

Click the left mouse button, hold it down and then move the mouse. It should look like this:

When you let go, the stamp will be rotated:

Today, I mistakenly created a new posting in which I posted a Potential solution to the "Cannot rotate the stamp" problem (?)  to this problem.

I apologize for not realizing that I should have posted it here instead.

Hey i know this is a old question but I had the same issue and was using a round stamp I found that when trying to rotate you need to look for the rotate simble at the top middle of the blue retangle box that appears around the stamp when you click on it. hope anyone that googles this question can find my comment and it helps.
