I created a fillable pdf in Acrobat Pro (CC), including a signature field. I sent it to Reader on an iPad to check that the fillable pdf would work. User on iPad was able to fill out everything but the signature. Nothing happened when clicking in the signature box. Any suggestions on how to resolve this in Prepare Form so any user using Reader can fill out and sign?

To enable signature fields for Reader one needs to purchase a LIveCycle Server license and even then it might not work on a mobile device. Mobile devices are very dependent upon the app that is used.

As noted use Adobe Fill & Sign.

The user on iPad must use Acrobat Mobile or Adobe Fill & Sign, not the Apple reader…
