Please assist - My late 2013 MacBook Pro bought in middle 2014 is lately giving me messages that it is running out of memory when I have Illustrator CC 2017 & also Photoshop CC 2017 open - forcing me to quit the apps in the Activity Monitor.

This is a huge frustration!!!

What could the problem be and how can it be sorted?

I am not a techie!

Ohotybird2 you may want to consider also posting to the Illustrator forum at Illustrator to see if there are any additional Illustrator specific steps that the might resolve the application from running out of memory.
