I am unable to open LR6. It says "the entry point_crtCreateSymbolicLinkW could not be located in the dynamic link library"

Kindly help me in retrieving the same.

Remove Lightroom, reboot and reinstall. Post back if it does not fix the issue.

Hi,

I tried to uninstall LR6 and reinstall with my Legal Serial Number, but still no luck.

Pls advice me on what I could do????

If I install Photoshop LR, do I need to pay something additional or will the same Serial Number work????

After you did the install a second time, are you now saying that the DLL problem is gone and are now having a serial number problem?

When you reinstall, make sure you have administrative privileges.

Also, make sure to reboot after removing LR and before re-installing.

What is your OS?

When exactly does this error appear?

After installing and putting in the Serial Numbers, the LR icon shows up on the desktop. When I double click the icon to start, it shows ( the procedure point _crt Create symbol LinkW could not be located in the dynamic link library)
