Footer won't stay on the bottom of my page and has white space underneath it, how can I fix this?

As you can see in the images:

The footer is halfway up the page, i have stick footer turned on, i don't want to pin it because the footer should only show on the bottom when scrolling not overlapping content.

What can I do?

Hi Josh,

I had the same problem. As I puted contant on the page that the page height was generally higher than the maximum page height noted in the master page, the footer would stick at the bottom. I am not sure if this is the same matter with you site but give it a try.
