Hello, I am using indesign on a mac. I've been noticing colors looking very different. Thought it was my monitor but then I put images side by side with the image as shown inside of indesign and they look totally different.  I am attaching a pic of image preview which is on the right and that same image placed inside of indesign. As you can see its much darker (indesign on the left.) Any ideas how to fix? Thanks

Depending on your settings InDesign will preview RGB colors as they are expected to print. The OSX application Preview doesn't have that color management capability.

If you don't want the print preview make sure View>Overprint Preview is turned off and Edit>Transparency Blend Space is set to Document RGB.
