Separating Pages!?

Okay, so I'm extremely new to InDesign and in need of some guidance!

I started a new job not long ago and have been asked to take a look at the companies catalogues (which have been made on InDesign) and see if there is any way to separate the pages so they can be exported as PDF's individually - ideally in categories, maybe 4 or 5 pages at a time. Some of the catalogues reach over 300 pages, so I can understand why it would make sense to split it into categories - no customer is going want to read through hundreds of pages!

So, I was wondering, is there a way for me to do this? Can I, for example, only choose to export pages 20-24 of a 210 page document?

I hope what I'm asking makes sense

Thank you!

You can select the page range in the Export PDF Dialogue box. You can also reassemble and rearrange PDF pages in Acrobat Pro.

Choose EXPORT from the FILE menu and in the window that opens, choose Acrobat PDF (Print) like this.

Then choose the pages/section you want to save as a PDF, name that PDF according to your needs, then start all over again with the next section.
