Hi

I just updated to Adobe CC 2017 and now Acrobat pauses significantly before viewing the next page.

I can kind of understand it for full color photographs or intense equations etc, but it's doing it on regular plain (vector) text.

I feel like there must be a setting which I need to uncheck but I haven't found it... like it's reading the page ahead of time or something...

I never had this issue before, in fact I used to be able to check a 200 page file in ten seconds (I know what I'm looking for!) just by holding down the arrow key, now it takes a second to flip just one page...

Thanx

Em

I have a solution - page cache!

Obvious, yet I missed it.

Thanks for your help Emily.

You are most welcome Emily.

[ Mod: Just to clarify, this is the "Page Cache" setting in Acrobat's Preferences, on the "Page Display" page ]

You are very likely correct with your assumption that nobody else if having this particular problem. I am running Acrobat DC on Mac OS X on several computers and I have not encountered this problem. Is it possible that it's a problem with one particular file, or files from the same source?

Very simple solution that I just never saw.
