fonts not packaging in indesign

I am an experienced ID user. Today, with no apparent explanation, the fonts folder is not being created by the packaging process. Preflight is showing no errors, I use these fonts in a corporate work place all the time, some fonts are embedded in linked pdfs. However, no font folder or any fonts are appearing. Can anyone shed light on this?

Version of InDesign? Operating system? Have you tried restoring your InDesign preferences?

bizarre that it works, but it did. I used the soft restore method of renaming the original files, leaving them insitu then restarted InDesign. Thank you for your help.
