Hey! How can I make a homogenous object surface? the object is white but has some slight defects that are showing on the footage.

I'm using Adobe After Effects CC 2017 (updated yesterday), on Mac.

Thanks!

What object? what defects? You need to be more specific and provide at least a screenshot of the issue before anybody can advise.

I tried to upload a screenshot but for some reason i didn't manage to.

the object is a sphere, it is moving in 2 axis. it is white.

Its two hemispheres were glued together and therefore there is a slight defect on the sphere's surface.

I would like to correct it..

Well, as a 3D artist this is something I wouldn't bother with. I'd mask out the hand and re-create everything else in the 3D program which quite likely is the intention here, anyway.

My idea:

With the area with the imperfection masked off in an adjustment layer, apply a blur effect in that adjustment layer, eg. a radial blur. It will be easier if the hand isn't in the shot otherwise you'd have to mask around it with this method.
