While Browser Loads

Does Muse offer any control over how the browser decides to put up a spinning beachball or gear while it is loading a linked file?  I have some PDF files that take long enough to load that a viewer might wonder if the site is dead.  An indication that the browser is busy loading the file would help.  Even if I could just put up a bit of text temporarily saying "Loading...".  Is there a trick that would let me do that and have it overwritten as soon as the file loads?

There isn't anything in Muse itself as far as I know that can do this for you.

One way to get around this issue is to make your PDF files lighter so that browsers load them quickly.

I am hoping that someone here has a better solution than that for you.

Thanks,
