Stop Indesign from automatically rounding corners

This is a minor thing but is driving me crazy. How do I stop Indesign from automatically rounding the corners of new objects? Each time I create a shape I have to go into 'corner options' to change it to 'none'.

Thanks!

If it's only happening with one file in InDesign, you have probably set the Corner Options with no object selected. With nothing selected, choose the Selection (black arrow) tool. Choose Object > Corner Options and set the corners to None.
