I am trying to add light to my 3d logo after creating shapes from vector layers and nothing seems to apply with the layer. I have tried multiple lighting effects.

You have to be more specific and provide screenshots of the comp and the relevant timeline switches as well as proper system and version information and whatever other info may be relevant. As it is, your post is merely a "My car just broke" thing, which is of no use to anyone trying to help you.

Hey ShaneG,

Thanks for the screenshots. The first two screenshots appear to be working OK. Kind of hard to see what's going on there, though. Did you ever get this working? What did you end up doing?

Thanks,
Kevin

It would really help if we could see the modified properties of the layers giving you problems. Just select them and press the U key twice. Then try turning things off until you get the image back. We have no way of knowing what you are trying to do or even which layer is giving you problems.
