After installing the trial version, I tried to run it but every time I do so, without me doing anything else in the background, photoshop would not respond and Windows would recommend to close the program. Is there a solution?@
Jesse, Please let us know if the if you are able to use Photoshop now. If no, then please try reinstalling Photoshop and let us know about the outcome.

Have you tried looking for the crash report in the event viewer?

Try this, launch Photoshop let the issue occur again then open the event viewer and expand Windows Logs & choose Application.
You will see a recent Photoshop crash report on the top, open it and then take a screenshot and post it here.
