Hi all,
I was reading a guide on this forum about optimising your drives for faster rendering etc.
It recommended you install AE on the same SSD as your OS.
Is there any specific benefit for this, beyond convenience?
I have two SSD's and I'd ideally like to keep them separate.
Here is the forum I am referencing:

Thoughts appreciated.
Thanks,

You are less likely to run into odd issues if the application is installed in its default location on the same drive as the operating system.

I'd keep application software and the OS on the same drive. I would use the other SSD for the AE cache... which can get really big really fast!
Got any other storage for user files?

I agree with Dave and Peru Bob. You want AE and your OS in the same spot and you want a separate, dedicated SSD for AE's cache.
