Although the FTP web server connection to the host is correct (test connection o.k.) it is not possible to download files from the host sever to the local PC. The "error messeage" is: "Dreamweaver kann die Remote-Server-Zeit nicht ermitteln. Die Befehle zum Synchronisieren und Auswählen aktueller Dateien stehen nicht zur Verfügung".

Perhaps it is possible to get a Dreamweaver update?
Perhaps I have to use a SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protokoll which is not possible with my old dreamweaver version?

Thank you for a feed-back
Manfred

Your version of DW is long past its end of life date. It is no longer sold, supported or updated in any way.

If it's not an issue on the hosting company's side (contact them to make sure), and getting a modern version of DW isn't an option, I would use the free Filezilla Client to do my uploads.
