Want to export jpeg 300dpi (from original) but got 72dpi instead

I want to export TiFF file 300 dpi to by Jpeg 300dpi. when using export, it came out jpeg 72dpi instead.
please help where to set up.

If you used export save for Web you did not get a 72DPI setting you got no setting for DPI resolution for resolution is meaningless on the web.  If you open a save for web file in Photoshop that has no DPI resolution setting Photoshop will default the setting to 72DPI for it need the document to have some Resolution so it will be able to use units like inches, cm and mm for they are relative to resolution.  Photoshop require a document to have a resolution any one will do.  Use Save As if you wa

If you set Metadata to "All" in Save For Web, it will preserve the ppi setting as well.
