My Photoshop/CameraRaw version is missing a lensprofile

Hey,

I recently bought the Tamron SP35 F1.8 Di VC USD. Sadly, I can't find a lensprofile for it in CameraRaw.

CameraRaw is not able to detect the lens automatically, but I cannot select the profile manually either because it is not in the list of lenses.

Other lenses like my Tamron SP70-200 F2.8 Di VC USD are detected properly, just as my Nikon primes.

Is there any way I can download it manually or is it something else that causes this problem?

I am using a Windows PC with Photoshop CS6. According to Photoshop the software is up to date. My camera's (Nikon D750) software is up to date as well. Only the Tamron 35 could be updated according to Tamron, but I doubt that this is the problem since the update does not fix anything essentiell.

Best regards and thank you for your help!

You should be able to add that lens profile by installing the 9.8 adobe dng converter.

The dng converter installs the same lens profiles as the sister version of camera raw does.

If the profile is not in the list you can create your own.

According to the link below , support was added with Camera Raw 9.2. The latest ACR for CS6 was 9.1.1.

Thank you very, very much! It does not detect the lens on its own, but at least I have a proper lensprofile now!
