Is there a setting to stop 'fill & sign' automatically locking our docs from editing once a signature is applied?

Hi,

We are using Acrobat DC to fill and sign our documents, however we have noticed that when we apply a signature through fill and sign it automatically locks the document from editing. Is there a setting that will allow us to remove this functionality as we would like to lock the document in a different way/process?

Thank you in advance.

Matt

I am having the opposite problem -  I want the document to be locked and it works in the desktop version but iOS Acrobat Reader doesn't lock the file after saving on iPhone or iPad.  There must be a setting that has a default setting to lock on a PC and default setting to leave unlocked on iOS.
