I placed the year in the "Any Searchable Text" metadata field. The Smart Collection does not distinguish between 2000 and 2016 returning both years.
The answer is to use the Other MetaData -> Keywords . As suggested i was getting all photos with ISO 2000.

Note that "Any Searchable Text contains 2000" will match any field containing the characters "2000" -- keywords, caption, shutter speed, ISO, camera model, and many other fields. Very possibly the unwanted matching photos have a shutter speed of 1/2000. If you want to match just the keywords, then use the Keywords criterion with the "contains words" operator:
Keywords contains words 2000
The "contains words" operator will prevent matching a keyword such as "Olympics2000".

I have tried both "Contains" and "Contains Words" - both returning values not equal to 2000; The idea was to keep the year as a searchable key word. In my case the query returns years 2000, 2016 and 2017 .
