I have bought just this new CC. I am working with the latest version of LR 6.8. But I cannot import RAW pictures from this camera. I always get a failure infomation. Do someone one when an update will be available. I do not hope that I have to leave my pictures on the camera for too long ...

Thanks

Jörg

This camera is not yet supported by Adobe software. You'd have to use the camera manufacturer's software to work with the RAWs from this camera, convert them to TIF and then import those into Lightroom.

No one knows when the next update will be available, except for Adobe employees and they're not allowed to say publicly. Could be a few weeks or a few months.

Thanks for this information. Is probably the DNG converter an interim solution ? But I also tried out the latest version (9.8). This also didn't work ! Only a guess, maybe faster than an integration in LR 6 ?

The DNG convertor also needs to be updated to handle raw files from your camera. It will probably have a new release about when LR does.

The latest version of Lightroom CC 2015.8/  LR 6.8 was released on Dec 8, 2016. Your camera model was released in 2017 about one month ago, so support for the raw files is not yet available.

Adobe releases updates for new cameras and bug fixes approximately every three months. An update maybe released within a couple of weeks and hopefully your camera model is included. Adobe does not announce release dates or details so its wait and see!
