playback problem in after effects

yet another AE playback prob !!

it's happening to me in cc 2017, that the comp caches but doesn't playback.

after close and open the program again it starts working, but after a few minutes in a precomp it goes wonky again.

the sequence cache bar goes all green but no playback.

any of you encountered such a problem? any workaround or fix?

i miss old ram preview...

So what's going on in your comp. Without details you might just as well ask "Why is watermelon?"

CC 2017 is working just fine for me in all of my standard workflows using standard HD, 2K and 4K footage from professional gear.

It happens in all comps. so not comp specific.

3d layers and camera movement.

no plugins, no special things.

1080p sequence, 25fps,

Windows 10 48GB ram, Nvidia gtx980Ti, Dual XEON HP Z800, 3x SSD RAID 0 for AE CACHE.

I'm having these same problems as well. I recently purchased Adobe After Effcets CC 2017 and everything renders fine but when I go to play it, it's stuck on one clip and doesn't move. I'm not a genius with computers or softwares but when I used cs6 I never had this problem. Can someone please help me? Thank you.
