Are you seeing a warning dialog? if not try try resetting "Warning Dialogs" in Lightroom Preferences.

In Lightroom go to Edit>Preferences> General Tab> Click on Reset all warning dialogs.

Try to edit in photoshop again and see if any warning dialog pops up.
