How to uninstall Studio MX with CS3 installed?

    DianeMarieDennis Community Member
      Hello!

I'm on OS 10.5.4 and I installed CS3 thinking it would "overwrite" Macromedia Studio MX but it didn't so now I have all the applications from CS3 and all the applications from Studio MX. How do I uninstall the Macromedia Studio MX applications while keeping the CS3 applications intact?

      Thank you for your help!!

          Drag it to the trash.

All DW apps are separate, stand-alone installations. Always have been.

            Thank you Murray!

Everything I've read says DON'T drag Dreamweaver to the trash to delete, instead use an "uninstall" app but I couldn't find one. Now I know why! ;)

So just dragging it to the trash and dumping the trash won't leave little bits here and there on my hard drive, you know how some applications install little files here and there?

            Thank you again Murray!

I may have steered you wrong.

              Do you have this installer?

              Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/Macromedia Installers/Macromedia
              Dreamweaver MX

              ??

                Hi Murray!

I'm not finding it on my computer. Should I pull out the install CD and see if it's there?

                Thank you!!
