Cannot publish photos to facebook from lightroom 4.4

It appears to be a permissions problem with the app on Facebook, however, I have checked every possible setting in Facebook for the light room app and I have it set to public and there are no passwords, or restrictions on the app whatsoever. I still cannot publish to Facebook from lightroom.

Has anyone gotten this to work? I am extremely frustrated as this shouldn't be so difficult to work in this day and age.

Your version of Lightroom is now 4 years old and is not being updated. Web services like Facebook can change, so it's possible your old version won't work anymore. This should work in the current Creative Cloud version of Lightroom.

As a workaround, export JPEGs of your photos from Lightroom and them upload them to Facebook outside of Lightroom.

I believe you are correct, and that is the workaround I am using. Thanks!
