Hello,

I am using lightroom 6 and I just did the software update.

I am using the Sony RX 100 V and I have setup the photo quality to RAW (ARW format on the sony camera).

Unfortunately, when I am trying to import them into lightroom I get a message saying the viewing is not possible for this file.

Do you know what I need to do to be able to import them into lightroom?

Thank you for your help.

Good evening

I have done the update via the help menu.

Lightroom tels me that the software is up to date

When I go into Ligthroom >  about adobe Photoshop ligthroom I get the following screen:

Capture d’écran 2017-03-04 à 22.59.57.png

Once I click on "Version 6.0", on the top right corner, I get the fowling information

I do I knew if the update was installed properly? I am still unable to see or import the the ARW files.

You are still using Lightroom 6.0. No update has been installed. Follow the link that has been provided and download the Lightroom 6.8 update and install it manually.

I laugh the Adobe PatchInstaller lightroom 6.8/2015.8 from the link above, It tell me that the update is installed but then when I go to ligthroom it does not seem to have installed the patch.

What can I do?

Do I have to reinstalled lightroom 6 and then the patch? If so How do I save the preset and the work already done on lightroom?

Thank you for your time

Do not uninstall the LR 6 application just download and run the update patch.

I am running the patch, i get the message that the update is done but then when I start lightroom I still cannot see the photos and when I check about Adobe photoshop lightroom 6 it says the following:

Capture d’écran 2017-03-05 à 10.39.17.png

Capture d’écran 2017-03-05 à 10.39.25.png

and from the previous post the update does not installed.

I have done it manually by downloading the following version

Capture d’écran 2017-03-05 à 10.41.45.png

and the starting it but nothing change.

Open Finder and go to the Applications folder. Look for Adobe and open it. Look for Lightroom. Is there just one Lightroom folder or 2.

Thank you very much.

I put one lightroom copy on my desktop to open it quickly and of course it does not update both of them.

Th copy lightroom does not update with the patch.

I suppose I can delete the Adobe ligthroom - copie as well as the lightroom 4 without any risk and keep only the Adobe ligthroom that took the update patch?

Thank you to all of you for your time and help in this matter
