Help! Unable to view fonts in drop down menu, Adobe CS6 Indesign

My fonts names and previews aren't appearing when I click the drop down menu while editing an InDesign doc

I'm using El Capitan 10.11.6

Saw in other forums to go to Accessibility in System Preferences and select "Reduce Transparency". It seemed to work, but now it's not.

Anyone experience this problem and know how to fix it? (CS6 is not being supported in El Capitan?) Should have never upgraded?

Thank you!

Try trashing preferences:

Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences

And no CS6 is not supported on El Capitan, but I haven't had any issues. Others have lots. This may or not be related.

If trashing prefs doesn’t work, then try a new user account. Beyond that, as you’ve already noted, CS6 is unsupported under El Capitan and rolling back to an earlier operating system would be advisable.

How do you roll back to an earlier operating system? I'm baffled trying to find the answers in the User Forums!

Many thanks!
