Muse shots down immediately after opening a file

I have this issue now for the sixth time and it will not end. I already tried step 1 and step 2 of renewing my CC.

I start Muse, wait until it shows the screen, sometimes it shows the welcome screen with the files, that I recently used, mostly it does`t show up.

If I start a new file, I can do this. If I try to open a recent file it quits.

Chat is closed today (although it should be  open on Mondays from 9:00 to 17:00.

Are there (wherever) holidays?

Helpful maybe but too unspecific. There`s no way shown, how to reset my preferences. I am told to delete the muse folder inside my user/library/preferences/adobe.

Divya already did this and Shikha too, by not deleting but renaming the folder "Adobe Muse CC" into "Adobe Muse CC_old".

I did this now twice, as you may see:

To get this folder,one has to click the "ALT" as well in the "Go To" menu. Not until then the "Library" gets revealed.

Today I also could solve for a short period of time: I reordered my muse file from location to another, so muse couldn`t find

the suggested muse file. I got asked if I want to delete this from the list, which I confirmed. After this muse worked as expected.

But now, in the evening, MUSE CRASHES again.

Maybe and hopefully I get a chat tomorrow from 9-5 as written?
