Batch Merging with PDFs

Hello,

I have two folders:

Folder 1

  1.pdf

  2.pdf

  ...

  500.pdf

Folder 2

  1.pdf

  2.pdf

  ...

  500.pdf

I need to merge each pdf

in folder 1 with the pdf of

the same name in folder 2.

For an output that is:

Folder 3

  1.pdf (with 1.pdf from old folder 1,

         and 1.pdf from old folder 2)

  2.pdf

  3.pdf

ALL the way through 500.

Possible?

If you have Acrobat Pro it can be done using a script and an Action.
